Congratulations to Andres Sanchez Guzman (left) on his recent anniversary with Murphy Family Ventures. Andres started at Enviro Tech 1 in 2006 and has consistently worked hard for the last 15 years - smiling along the way! Presenting his award is Senior VP and Director of Operations Terry Tate (right).

Congratulations to Braston Hairr for 10 years with Murphy Family Ventures! Braston first started on Peters Creek Farm, where his mother, Kris Hairr is the Farm Manager. He then quickly became a Production Trainee at Riverfront 1 where he assumed the role of Breeding HOD. He later accepted the role of Assistant Manager at Pender 2, and now holds the Farm Manager role at Pender 1. We are looking forward to many more years of working with him! Thank you for all you do, Braston, and keep up the good work!

Congratulations to Zakary Tylar (Zak) at Sweet Springs in Missouri on 10 years with Murphy Family Ventures! Presenting his service award is Sweet Spings Farm Manager Josh Sims. Zak began his MFV journey in 2011 at Marshall Sow Farm and then moved to Sweet Springs in 2015. Since then, he has been promoted to Assistant Manager and plays a vital role in the farm's success.

Molly ODonnel.jpg — Congratulations to Molly O’Donnell on her recent promotion to **Assistant Manager** at NC Wolf!

In 2017, Molly joined our employee family as a Production Trainee at NC Wolf. She was then promoted to HOD in 2019 and now has moved her way up to Assistant Manager of her "home base" farm.

Hooked on Albermarle

Our Murphy Family Ventures companies were well represented recently at the Hatteras Marlin Club Fishing Tournament in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The Albemarle Sportfishing Boats crew fished on a 41’ Express that is now for sale because the owner is building a new custom boat with us! How awesome is that?! Our employees work very diligently to build these fishing boats with the utmost quality and their hard work continues to pay off.

Our Landscape Services Team has been clearing and planting what will soon be a beautiful pollinator garden in the Vineyards at River Landing. Using trees and plants that attract pollinators such as birds, butterflies, and bees, the new landsacpe will create a habitat that ultimately benefits our natural ecosystem.
